Roof Coatings

Roof coatings are designed to protect and extend the life of your low slope roof.  Roof coatings can be applied over most low slope systems, including modified bitumen, metal, and single-ply systems.  Roof coatings are fluid and can be applied with a sprayer, brush, or roller.  This creates a seamless surface that protects the roof from weather and UV rays.  Energy Star Certified coatings can help lower cooling cost by reflecting the sun’s heat. 

There are many different types of coatings available, including acrylic coatings, silicone coatings, and polyurethane coatings.  Coatings are commonly white, although a variety of colors are also available.  When the roof coating eventually begins to wear out, it can be recoated to further extend the life of the roof.
