Residential Roof Repair

Residential Roof Repair

If your roof is leaking or missing shingles, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you need a new roof.  Usually, we can repair minor problems without replacing the entire roof.  Any roof damage should be repaired to protect the roof against further damage and expense.

It is not uncommon to have a damaged roof and not realize it.  Unfortunately, if the problem is left untreated, it can lead to additional damage, which will ultimately increase repair costs or accelerate the need for a roof replacement.  For example, a damaged roof that has been left untreated can allow water to get underneath the shingles and rot the wood deck beneath.

A simple repair job is usually easy and inexpensive.  However, if a roof replacement is necessary, a repair will not extend the life of the roof.  MBA Roofing can examine your roof to determine if your roof needs a repair or replacement.

Residential Roof Replacement

If a repair is not possible, it may be necessary to replace your roof.  When we replace your roof, we remove the current roofing material and the roof underlayment.  Then, we inspect the plywood deck for damage and make any needed repairs.  The deck is then covered with new roof underlayment and the new roofing material.

Your roof replacement does not have to be the same material as your current roof.  You can choose from a wide variety of materials, colors, and styles, including: asphalt shingles, clay tiles, cedar shakes, slate and metal roofing.  We can help you decide which roofing material is right for your home or building.
